Dungeoneering is a technique in which players delve beneath into the dungeons of the Wilderness Peninsula called “Daemonheim”. The more advanced the Dungeoneering levels are, the more deep you’ll be able to go underground and get closer to the mysteries in the deepest reaches of Daemonheim. Training in Dungeoneering is not a requirement for any skill, item or quest. It is accessible to free players as well as members. It is possible to explore Daemonheim on your own or with groups of up to five players. Every dungeon you visit can be customized, which means that you can choose to play an a dungeon of combat, or a dungeon of skill. Although there’s a lot of fighting involved but this skill is safe to use. If you do die in the game, you won’t lose your items , and you will be able to respawn in the Dungeon.

Daemonheim is located close to the level 16 Wilderness. Daemonheim can be reached by following methods:

You can take the ferry from one of the two locations: North West of the Al Kharid bank or South West of the Taverley bank. The ferry will take you to the port located on the Eastern part of the peninsula.

Explore the wilds. This is a risky method, because you could be assaulted by players. The entry point is located at the level 11 wilderness. After you have passed security guards at the border, you’re secure.

Teleport with to Daemonheim using Ring of Kinship’s “Teleport to Daemonheim” option. It is only available once you’ve purchased the Ring from the Dungeoneering instructor. Find out more below about this item as well as the best way you can purchase it.

Teleport by using the Scroll from Daemonheim.

Enter the Dungeoneering portal that is located in the North East corner of the Prifddinas Tower of Voices.

The Dungeoneering Tutor

The Dungeoneering tutor can be found in Daemonheim located just to the East from the Bank. If you speak to him, but not having an Ring of Kinship, he will give you one immediately. He will also provide you with an overview of Dungeoneering, and also show you the journals you’ve found.

Dungeoneering Parties

Once you’ve reached the island There are two ways to learn Dungeoneering: solo or in a team.

Solo Dungeoneering: In this technique, you’ll finish floors on your own. To be a solo player, you must start a party using your Ring of Kinship and then go down one of the two stairs to the dungeon.

Team Dungeoneering: In this way, you’ll be playing with two to five players. This can be done by arranging your own party, or being invited to a party of someone else or joining an auto-grouped event. Find out below the steps to follow.

The Art of Creating A Party

A party, which may include up to five players is created by clicking”Form Party” or the “Form Parties” choice within the Ring of Kinship. Then, you are assigned the role as “Party leader”.

You will now need to invite players to join your group. It can be done by clicking on a player and choosing “Invite” as well as clicking”Invite” or the “Invite participant” button, which is marked by a green color, and then entering their name.

To invite guests to your event you must invite them to the same planet and be in the castle or on the grounds. The guests will be able to accept or decline the invitation. Once a group has been established, you can move with the following step.

Participating in A Party

To be a part of a party you must be invited by the party host. When you receive an invitation, simply click it and you will be presented with the menu below. You’ll be able to look over the statistics of every participant in the party and you will be presented with three choices. If you wish to join the party you must click the ‘Accept’ button, which is marked with green. If you don’t want to be a part of the party, select the ‘Decline’ option that is marked by yellow. If you don’t want to receive an invitation from the player, choose the option to ‘Decline forever’ that is red.

Auto-Grouped Parties

Another way to begin the process of team Dungeoneering is to join an auto-grouped group. It is a type of party that is created randomly and gives you no control over who you are playing with, how complex or the floor you play on. For an auto-grouped party to be played you have to enter one of two kinds of rooms for grouping. The first one is not equipped with prerequisites for the floor of a Dungeoneering room and is located in the area between the stairs to the North of the Daemonheim castle’s entrance (see the image). The second one requires floor space as you will be entering the themed rooms in the main plaza of Daemonheim castle. Daemonheim castle.

The groups are formed each 30 second. If there is a large number of people waiting in line the groups are formed in accordance with skill level and the number of rooms players can access. If there are only a few people waiting in a room, but you’re grouped regardless of your level of expertise or the amount of rooms you are granted access to.

The depth and complexity of a dungeon must be unlocked by every player in a group. Thus, the most deep floor and the most complex level is decided by the player with the lowest experience in the group. The downside of this approach is the fact that your dungeon will be designed for a smaller amount of players than you are, which can reduce the amount of experience gained. For instance, if you have five people in your group, the dungeon will be set to only require three players.

The Dissolution Of A Party or Dungeon

If you want to end the current party, go to the interface for your party and click on the “Leave the party” button, which is marked in red. If you ever have to quit a dungeon, you are able to do so by climbing up the ladder to exit the dungeon in the room that is where you started. When you reach the top the ladder, you will see a message warning you that you won’t be allowed to join the group. If you persist then you will be put in a waiting area. To get back to the level of the castle, you must jump off the edge. If you leave your cave before you have finished it, you’ll receive the amount of experience you have earned within the dungeon once you leap down.

Kicking A Player

If necessary, a party leader can remove a member from the group. To be able to remove a player, the majority vote has to be conducted to determine whether the majority of the team is in agreement with the decision. To begin a vote, select the Ring of Kinship and then right-click on the name of the player. Choose”Kick” as the “Kick” option. All members of the group will be notified whether they would like the player to be kicked out. If the majority of people agree that the player should be kicked, he will be removed from the party.

Party Information

We will now explore how to use the Party interface. If a one-player or a party that was manually made is created the leader of the party is required to alter several options based on what is wanted by the group. This is not required for parties that are auto-created, since they are automatically deciding by you. If the leader does not alter the options, they will default to the lowest floor that is not explored and the highest complexity that was utilized. The options, in order from the top down, comprise: shared Experience(yellow), Floor(red), Complexity(green), and Guide Mode(cyan).

Shared Experiential

The button that is next to the name of each player, which is circled in Yellow in the above image shows if they’ve turned on this feature or not. The red color indicates that it’s off, while green indicates it’s turned on.

If the feature is turned on, that participant will be rewarded with a portion of the experience each time the other party member takes an act. The player who performs the action will receive more of the experience.

If it is turned off, the user will not benefit from the actions of the other members in the group. This is a good option for those who wish to keep certain abilities at a lower level because you are unable to choose of the skills you develop beyond the levels determined by the level of complexity.

Selecting A Floor

Just beneath just below the “Leave the Party” as well as “Invite Player” buttons, highlighted in Red it is a button that lets you open a new tab where you can select the level of the floor your group will visit. The more deep the floor you select is, the more risky it becomes. It will provide you with more powerful enemies and bosses to take down.

A floor is only accessible if the floor below it has been defeated at least once, and the player’s Dungeoneering is at least twice the floor’s level. Therefore, in order to gain access to the floor 25, for instance you must have defeated the floor 24 at least once and be the level of Dungeoneering 51 or higher. The most difficult floor that can be explored by a group is determined by the most novice group member. The floors that are explored by every player to determine their current status are identified by an asterisk. Floors that haven’t yet been explored will be marked with a solid color. It is recommended to select the floor that the majority of your group hasn’t yet explored, as you gain experience with each other.

Complexity Level

The button that is below the floor selection, this one is marked in Green it opens the difficulty menu. The difficulty of a dungeon determines the skills that will be tested during the dungeon. Complexity 1 for instance is a test of only basic combat abilities and is easy to beat. Complexity 2 requires more skill and thus make the floors more difficult to conquer.

But, while floor with lower complexity are simpler and can therefore be completed faster however, they come with the disadvantage of a significant cost of experience. For instance, the level of the complexity level 1 has an experience penalty of 50% meaning that you get just half of total experience you can earn after finishing the floor. Below is a comprehensive list of the levels of complexity and the abilities that will be required, as well as the penalty for experience.
